Your Adore Yoga Sri Lanka Retreat Itinerary
We will meet in the Sri Lankan capital city, Colombo. From there, we will drive in private cars to our mountain sanctuary, Rukgala. Ideally situated in the hills of the emerald green interior of the island, Rukgala is a gorgeous boutique hotel and yoga retreat centre that boasts views across mountains, lakes and tea plantations. It is the perfect spot to enjoy relaxing yoga and meditation, yet close to many fascinating cultural, historical and natural sights that are a must-see for any visitor to Sri Lanka.

Meet at in Colombo and transfer by private car to Rukgala in the mountainous centre of Sri Lanka (approximately 4hrs).
Tuesday 26 November - Monday 2 December
A typical day on the Adore Yoga Sri Lanka Retreat might look like this:
7.30am: Morning Yoga and Meditation
9am: Deliciously fresh and healthy breakfast
10am - 1pm: Exploration of local cultural, historical and nature sites
1pm: Organic vegetarian lunch
2pm - 4.30pm: Free time for resting by the pool, reading, enjoying a massage
4.30pm: Afternoon Yoga and Meditation
6.30pm: Dinner, great conversation and excellent company
Monday 2 December
7.30am: Morning Yoga and Meditation
11am: Transfer by private car to Colombo airport (approximately 4hrs)
We recommend leaving an extra night or two to explore Colombo, nearby beaches and the surrounding areas. If you are flying out of Colombo on Monday 2 December 2019, please arrange for a flight that leaves after 7.30pm to ensure time to arrive at the airport and check in.

Nikola Ellis and Rosemary Manners co-founded Adore Yoga, one of Australia's most respected yoga schools, in 2002. With many decades of global travel between them, Nikola and Rosemary have practiced and taught yoga and meditation on every continent except Antarctica (watch this space!) They have been taking students to magical locations for yoga and meditation retreats and trainings since 2010, including programs in Bali, Myanmar, Australia and South India. They are passionate about partnering with local communities in every country they visit, finding ways to support education, health and wellbeing at a grass-roots level.

Your Yoga Retreat is hosted by Nikola Ellis, founder of Adore Yoga. Nikola has been immersed in yoga, meditation and ayurveda for over 25 years, studying with leading international teachers. Nikola loves sharing her passion for yoga and travel with students from all over the world, presenting retreats, trainings and adventures in Australia, Asia, USA and Europe. Nikola runs a successful private Yoga Therapy practice in Sydney and develops Yoga Therapy programs for organisations including A Sound Life, Cancer Council NSW, The Butterfly Foundation and The Kinghorn Cancer Centre.
Naturopath, Nutritionist, NLP
Rosemary has been passionate about health since graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Pharmacy 25 years ago. Ten years ago she completed a Diploma of Naturopathy from Nature Care College and since then she has been studying the mind and the decisions we make in relationship to health. This study has included Neurolinguistic programming, Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis. Rosemary is also a trainer in NLP and Time Line Therapy.
