Immerse yourself in tranquility

This extraordinary program goes beyond meditation teacher training to give you an immersive experience of a holistic meditative lifestyle. Staying and studying in a sacred Vedic Village, you will make your dream of living a life of calm tranquility, health and wonderful, supportive friends a reality.

As well as the meditation teacher training program, you will enjoy daily gentle yoga, a consultation with the Ayurvedic doctor and daily Ayurvedic treatments in the clinic. It's a recipe for total health and wellbeing.

The Venue - Maitreyi Vedic Village

We will be studying and practicing meditation at Matreyi Vedic Village, a purpose-built meditation, yoga and ayurveda centre in a pristine natural setting at the foothills of the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu, South India. Spread over 25 acres adjoining the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Maitreyi includes a completely organic farm and features an architectural layout based on the Vedic Science of architecture, Sthapatya Veda or Vastu Vidya.

Great care has been taken to use eco-friendly building materials for construction and maintenance and you will be staying in a beautiful, traditional cottage with a relaxing private veranda, views over lush fields and coconut palms (plus the odd cow, peacock and egret!) and a modern western-style ensuite. The Meditation Teacher Training program takes place in a cool and shady meditation hall where you will have the choice of sitting on cushions on the floor or in comfy chairs.

What students are saying about this program:

"I came from a totally different background in facilitation as a performing arts and public speaking coach. I was very interested in this particular meditation facilitation course, having practiced yoga for many years. I was so glad I enrolled. The philosophy and theory behind what we practiced was so helpful. I look forward to dedicating a whole course to meditation now and sharing this with our performing art and public speaking students! Thanks Adore Yoga."
